Orangeville and area realtors Doug & Chris Schild made what has become a much anticipated annual visit to Headwaters Health Care Centre to give a $5,000 donation to Headwaters Health Care Foundation in honour of the clients they provided services for this past year.
Touring the new Ambulatory Care expansion yesterday, the Schild’s were able to see where the funds they have donated have gone. “Chris and I feel very privileged to live and work in such a wonderful community” says Doug Schild. “This community has contributed so much to our lives and we want to give back.”
“We are very fortunate to have a hospital like Headwaters Health Care Centre right here, so close to home. All of us have had the need for care either personally or for a loved one and our hospital consistently provides competent & compassionate care. Thank you!” adds Chris.
The Schild team has been honoring their clients in this way since 2013 and has donated over $25,000 on their behalf to Headwaters Health Care Foundation through these annual gifts. The funds from this gift will directly support the purchase of the highest priority medical equipment to support the list of capital needs that the hospital has identified this year.
